Our Services & Rates
All dogs should be walked or let out two to four times per day. For their own well-being, cats must be visited at least once per day. Other small animals’ needs depend on species and their unique character. All animals in a household will be visited.
We offer many services and try to accommodate every family. So, if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask!
All service requests, confirmations and changes to schedules are managed Monday through Friday. Service requests received over the weekend will be handled the following Monday. Family Tails is open on the Weekend - Saturday 10 a.m - 1 p.m./Sunday closed for all general enquiries and emails/phone calls.
We are always available outside of business hours for emergency preparedness plans and back-up procedures for pets.

Pet sitting is a pre-paid service. Payment must be received in full prior to our first visit of each trip or at the beginning of each month for ongoing service clients. All major credit cards accepted as a payment. To make an online payment click Payment.
A Holiday Surcharge will apply on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
Please note that we charge a one-time new client registration fee of $30. This covers setting you up in our system as a new client. The system will allow you to make reservations through our convenient 24-hour online system and helps coordinating our staff to meet your needs.
A great time to tell us about your pet, ask questions, and give us a tour. We'll go over paperwork, and set up a schedule if you're ready. Also a good time to provide us with keys for visits.
Private dog walks in your neighborhood are tailored to your dog's energy and exercise needs. Includes poop pick-up, wiping paws, administering medication (injections not included), fresh water and feeding when needed.
Base rate of $21 per dog walking (1 pet). $3 charge for additional pets. $5 surcharge per walk for special needs dogs requiring medications.
1-2 Walks Per Week = $21 Each. Discounted 3-5 Walks Per Week = $19 Each.
Pet sitting visits includes litter box cleaning (cat sitting), fresh water and feeding, brushing, playtime, and administering medications (injections not included) when needed.

Extended pet sitting visits longer than three hours.
Extended visits longer than three hours $15 per hour.
A private overnight stay with your pet(s) in your own home for your pet's comfort. For dogs this also includes a night and morning dog walking. Includes watering plants, bringing in mail, turning on/off lights, and opening/closing curtains.
$90. Includes approximately twelve hours of overnight service. On holidays, the rate is $130.
Taking the pets with you and just need someone to keep an eye on things? Schedule house visits while you are away. House sitting includes watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out trash/recycling, turning on/off lights, opening/closing curtains, and light cleaning for long stays when needed.
$21 a visit to water plants, bring in the mail, and miscellaneous requests.
